Dewan SESB
Post ini akan jadik bias, sebab abang aku yg handle operation of this hall ... Hehe, I won't elaborate more on the hall details ... As mostly sumer org dah tau it's very unique & beautiful ... Especially when you have a traditional theme wedding ... It's difficult to get the hall (ye ke ??), sebab always fully booked on convenient dates ...
So recently my bestfriend got married ere, sangat beautiful ... I just don't favor the right & left side of the hall, sebab the ceiling rendah ... Rase mcm u're in a conference room, but with a good photographer ... I bet you can capture all the moments beautifully ...
The rate is RM350 per hour, kalau my brother yg booking ade 50% discount ... So dear friends, contact me if you need my help ... I'll appeal the case to my brother, see whether he can help ... & jangan la nak pakai in 2weeks baru nak bagitau kan, reasonable la sikit ... Nak suruh move date org lain for you pun, it's a NO NO ... Standard procedure mcm nak booking other hall, just that we can give a hand tolong booking ...
So basically ... Yes, my brother is in-charge ... But bukan la abang aku yg duduk tunggu on/off air-cond & tutup the hall ... Abg aku just monitor his staff yg on duty that day ... Since wedding normally falls on holidays kan ...
The table arrangement, rehearsals ... Nak pasang dais, nak setting buffet line ... Tu sumer bole discuss with my brother, pukul brape nak start pasang dais ... Or if you wanna come in for rehearsal ... For me, it's not a big problem ... But kene pandai tackle the staff on duty, bukan mengurat yeaaa ... Communication - Let them know properly pukul brape nak start, & approximately pukul brape bole settle ... Make sure you're time arrangement fit their schedule, sebab dorang ni human jugak nak balik jumpe anak bini lepas keje ... ;p
From my personal opinion, the main problem about weddings in KK is the wedding planner ... They're not competitive in providing the best service ... & of course, with a sky high cost ... Imagine if they can't even solve masalah tak cukup table on the reception eve ?? That's how bad the service are, really ...
I think I've already complaint about the full payment deposit in my previous post, it just made the clients less option for the wedding planner for their weddings ... Since you have to pay full amount, then you'll be left in no choice but to deal with the wedding planner since the deposit is too much to be neglected ... Unless, of course if you have thousands to spend on your wedding ... Then you won't have problem paying extra for every single details you requested ...

Buying Gold: Alamanda Putrajaya
I personally think Alamanda is quite a good place to buy gold ... Jgn sebut Pasar Payang la, aku lempang berkali2 nanti ... Disebabkan I'm restricted to go any near to shoes & dresses, kerana kekangan limit kredit wang plastik itu ... Heh, so I developed a new hobby ... Sebab gian nak shopping jugak, so skarang aku shopping emas ... Good huh ??
Hahah, at least aku xbole swipe credit card dlm jumlah yg besar utk tujuan itu ... Or dgn kate lain, memang xbole swipe pun ... Hehehheheheh ... I really should left my cards wif my mum, or else I'm doomed ...
Ok, back to the topic ... Alamanda is a good place, to find gold ... Since ade 3 kedai emas dlm that mall, so 1. You have choice ... 2. They're competitive in price, 3. You have more power as a consumer ...

Of course, bile ade 3 kedai emas dlm tu ... You're tend to survey sumer kedai, baru decide nak beli kat mane kan ?? In my case, saye b'mule secare kecil2an je ... So, I'm more into the rings ... I really like Tomei's design, since it's more modern compared to Habib's conventional & more traditional design ... Tapi S.Wan Jewelries offers some interesting design jugak ...
But since Tomei bnyk outlet, so mostly it's about the same design dgn mane2 outlet pun ... I think the same goes for Habib, but it's a good thing that you have 3 shops to compare kan ... The only problem for is the size, normally design cantik2 tinggal size besar jek ... & Tomei's design look like susah nak resize je ...
I dunno la if the SA kat Tomei tu xbape nak promote kan, but I always read about good review pasal SA Habib yg always provide service excellent ... In my personal experience, they really provide a good service ... They can resize the ring within an hour - couple hours, beli before movie ... Sblm balik dah bole ambik, xpayah nak dtg balik the next day ...
SA kat S.Wan ?? Hahah, she tested the ring kat jari die ... Pastu decide sendiri whether it's small or big, or memang die xtau camane nak tgk the ring's size ?? God knows ... Heheh ...

My 1st ring, I bought dekat Tomei Mesra Mall ... Mase tu harge emas RM189 per gram ... Sebab tu jek 1 kedai emas yg aku slalu nampak kat sini, so memang beli kat situ jek la ... I paid full price accordingly per gram, & upah almost RM50 much2 simpler design from what I got in Habib ... Pastu kene kutuk dgn Yani - "mo dok reti beli emas mokcik, mu bole mintak kurang lagi" ... Heh ...
As for yesterday, S.Wan offers lowest price for emas 916 (RM182) ... Tomei RM 183, & Habib offers at normal price of RM189 with discount of RM5 for each gram ... I think you know what I mean ...

Sebab the price is slightly different, so you have choice either to have the design you adore the most or having something more likely for slightly cheaper price ... Kalau aku yg gedik lebey ni, mesti aku nak Habib jugak ... SA die best tu, alasan jek ... It's more to kepuasan tgk kotak Habib, instead of cheap looking plastic box from Tomei ... Heh ...
Sebenar nye semalam, I've already bought dekat Habib ... Then baru pegi S.Wan, & saw those yg bole tahan jugak la kat S.Wan ... Heheh ... Tapi seriyesly, SA kat S.Wan agak potong if you're really intended to buy ... I think, upah tukang tu negotiable ... Depends how much SA tu willing to cut from his commission la kan ... Tapi kalau nak test pun ko dah rase nyampah, confirm la you won't take the next step negotiating kan ... Unless you really like the design ke whatsoever, then kau akan tahan jugak walaupun SA tu annoying ...

Henna
My hand on the left, bride's on the right ...
Nothing much I can say about the henna design ... Since it was the sticker we got from Kedai India, & just apply the henna paste on it ... It is quite impossible to find a henna artist in KK ... I've been googling & blog-walking to find it ... But failed to find someone who's really doing it as a profession ...
There's this one lady, posted about doing henna on her blog ... But that was in 2010, & I think she just do it for her family & close friends ... & another lady wrote about her experience doing henna in her friends nail salon, & I don't think they do henna for business either ...
But the truth is, I don't have enough time to contact them ... So I dunno really, if they have been doing henna recently ... ;p
I wanna share about the henna paste itself ... Which I bought from Mydin, it cost about rm2 - rm2.90 per tube ... Which I will, highly NOT RECOMMEND ... Sebab, it's beautiful for a couple days only before it destroy you hand horribly ...
As we applied the paste, I've already feel the burning sebenar nye ... Tapi sebab nak ambek hati bride, & aku ni kan jenis yg sanggup menahan ketidak selesaan untuk kecantikan (cantik ke ??) ... Heheh, so aku tahan je la ... After an hour lebih kurang, it turned out black !!! Hahah ...
It's totally chemical I guess, since it's fading every single time I washed my hands ... & I can feel the slimy2 texture on my finger tips every time it got contacts with water ... In a week, it became terrible ... The skins where I applied became all flaky, it's horrible !!!
& the color on the nails also jadik xcantek, uneven & yellowish ... It's a BIG NO to inai in tube ... Especially if you have gap in between your solemnization & reception ... Because it can be terrible in few days ...
Buruk giler, nak emphasis yg t'kopek2 kat jari kelingking tu ... Last week lagi teruk ...
Put some effort to find inai Mekah or inai fresh from the leaves, because the last time I applied inai Mekah on Wani's wedding ... The color stays in beautiful tone la walaupun it fade jugak, but the color still look nice for the next few months ...
Favors: For Bridal Shower

So, the reason why ... I can't update it right away, sebab it's a surprise for the bride ... Not even the favors been publish before the bridal shower ... :D
Adik cherry was in the 5th gear for helping mood the whole time ... She's the one pushing me, suruh bake the cookies ... Bake the cupcakes, do frosting whatsoever ...
So I baked the cookies twice, because the 1st batch ruined ... Since I baked the whole night, finished at 9am ... & t'tido till noon without packing it right away ... Heheh ...
But on the 2nd batch, adik cherry have been a huge help ... I think I did snap gambar adik cherry menguli the dough, but can't find it ... Walaupun half way she bailed out, sebab fail to shape the cookies in consistent size ... Hehe ...
I bought the cookie jars in the wedding favors shop in Wangsa Walk, there's not much choice there ... But it got the exact size I wanted ... Sebab yg ade dekat tempat lain sumer mostly bigger, tak larat den nak buat cookies for bigger jars ... Heheh ...
I didn't got the chance to go to Nilai 3, but I bet it's pretty standard the things you got there ... Susah nak carik those yg lain dr yg lain ... Like when I was looking for the jar dekat Giant, they only hav that one type glass jar with pale gold lid ... & I have no idea how to decorate that ...

My personal opinion ?? Buat 10jars pun rase stengah mati, I don't think I can stand doing 100 of it for VIP favors whatsoever ... Hahah, but xtau la if I got a nice deal kan ... Maybe the money will get me the drive ...
Maybe I should try doing it with those cookie maker yg tekan je tu ... Mane tau not that tiring kan, but sure sakit tangan !!! Hahah ...
After buat the cookies, memang I feel senang giler buat cupcakes ... Since cupcakes I tuang jek, then bake ... But I have to constantly shape the cookies all the time thru baking ... Tiring huh ??
But to see everybody enjoying it ?? That's precious tau - money can't buy moment ...

Alia's Wedding
Sgt xde keje, tgh duduk2 kat rumah dgn harapan ade org akan call ajak kluar la ... Walaupun my 2nd Call Open House still in progress ... Hahah, budget la kan ade org nak ajak kluar ... Heheh ... Anyway, sementara duduk2 xde keje ni ... Baik update sblm basi kan, heh ...
So, departed late dr rumah tadi ... Sebab pegi ambik adik cherry from airport pagi tadi, & bz pick up lemang for my mum from Rembau ... 2.30pm baru jln kot, padahal event 10.30am - 3pm ... Risau giler xsempat tadi, siap sesat carik dewan ... Ngam2 3pm baru sampai ...
So, 1st we saw thing when we arrived ... The cute registration table ... I'm not really a fan of registration table/photo both ... Tapi adik cherry sgt suke, siap suruh kakak cherry snap a picture of it ... Heh, suke bagi alasan ... ;p

What I love the most, the drinks serve in chillers ... Hahah, simple detail jek ... Tapi aku suke, heheh ... It feels exclusive, & neat ... Compared to the regular water dispenser ...
Owh, ade lagi a thing that I adore the most ... She the most chilled bride I ever met !!! Hahah, sgt calm & everything just flow nicely ...

Borneo Trip Round 2: Bundle Updates Part II
Obviously I'm freaking busy last week ... Xsempat nak hapdet ape2, since day 1 of arrival ... Sampai yesterday, imagine xde langsung mase nak pegi window shopping ?? Actually semalam sempat kalau nak pegi, but I got a bad fever ... Xlarat nak buat pape ... So here's some updates on my whole week vacation ...
Upon Arrival -

My brother picked me up at the airport, & Yana Guring was there as well menyambut Kakak Cherry kesayangan die ... Glad that everybody's happy with the cupcakes ... The bride dah tido when I arrived, kesian ... Sehari sblm nikah baru dapat cuti ...

Day 1 -
My duty as bride's maid started already ... Drove the bride's mum to Putatan, kene beli bunga telur ... Sebab in early plan, bunga telur not included ... But as adviced by org2 sekeliling, it's better to have them for mlm b'inai ... Other gifts is already done, just the bunga telur was done last minute ...
Went jalan2 in 1Borneo, carik baju for Danish ... Baru tau, susah rupe nyer carik formal wear for baby boy ... Cute dresses for girls memang bnyk, hahah ... Dah excited window shopping for baby dresses ?? Sabar2 ... Hahah ...
Later that night we have a little dinner with close friends & family ... It was fun, & nothing's dirty involved ... We just enjoy ourselves - show off talents + kutuk Wani yang over excited ... Heheh ...
Day 2 -
We slept all day, me & adik cherry ... Hahahhahahahah, bgn jap ... Makan, pastu tidor balik ... Bgn pukul 6ptg, makan ... Tengok tv, tolong balut bunga telur jap ... Pastu pukul 12 dah tido balik ... Heheh ... Owh, the bridal started installing pelamin rumah that afternoon ... By midnight, the pelamin is done ...
Day 3 (Hari Nikah) -
Woke up early around 9am, stayed home the whole day ... Last minute inai for the bride & bride's maid (yg over) ... Hahah ... Pengantin dah pakai basic inai the night before, we (me & kakak ipar bride) went down & dirty on the henna design ... Fully utilizing the sticker bought from kedai India, & it turned out just fine ...

Then the event start around 8pm, beautiful ... Beautiful, beautiful ... Malas nak tulis panjang2 ... Just enjoy the pictures ...

We went directly to Palace Suite after nikah, walaupun penat ... Tapi sebab over excited, xbole tido ... Went out for supper & bumped into saingan (hahah, fakta xpenting langsung) ... Then went back to the room, iron my dress for the next day ... Pukul 4 baru bole tido ...
Day 4 (Reception) -
Woke up around 9am, we went for breakfast downstairs ... Then rushed for make up for the reception ... Make up done around 1pm, later I'll elaborate more on the details ... Supaye korang don't have to go thru my novel long killing words, hahah ... More pictures ...

We spend the night at the suite again that night, & I manage to lepak2 with the girls ... Itu jek la the only time I manage to go out with the girls, now I know how tiring it is being the MOH ... Heheh ...
Day 5 -
Woke up, eat breakfast ... Tu pun mcm xbrape nak makan, sebab dah rase badan xsedap ... Then lepas mandi, I'm totally wasted ... Sampai rumah je, trus get the meds ... & tido sampai ptg, feel a little bit well ... Went out makan roti bakar & beli yoyo, then dah rase xsedap badan balik ... By 9.30pm, we're already home ... It's a boring day, & tiring ... That's it, heh ...
Day 6 -
My flight was at 6.50am in the morning, hahah ... Now I'm stuck at home in Bangi, xtau nak buat ape ... Org lain sumer keje ... ;p
So I better explain further on the details in separate post, biar senang korang nak search ...

Borneo Trip Round 2: Bundle Updates
Oh my, bnyk giler bende belum settle ... I'm less than 24hrs from my flight !!! T'pakse buat bundle updates, sebab xsempat nak buat hapdet every now & then mcm last visit ...
48hrs Before Departure -
Went shopping for my essentials kat Mesra Mall, because I'm still working on Sunday ... Siap kan report, because I'll be away for a week ... Just cream cleanser dgn hand lotion je pun, then I got my weekly shot of Caramel Macchiato kat Starbucks because I have to drive back to Bangi ...
Then drive the longest journey from Kerteh to Bangi, brenti at every r&r along the highway for approximately an hour every stop ... Sebab mengantuk sgt, the night earlier ... I just drive back dr Bangi, crazy right ?? Sebab bnyk giler bende xsettle lagi, + my report xsiap ... So t'pakse balik Terengganu jugak, considering xnak susah kan org lain settle kan my report ...
36hrs Before Departure -
Picked up my bride's maid dress yg 5mins away from home jek, hehe ... Puas hati ?? Yes, just that ... Ade mis-communication sket ... Since Rico nyer staff ckp there's more beading, but actually it's done just like mase 2nd fitting ... But I lurve it oredy !!! I'll sure find Rico for coming events ...
Then we (me dgn adik cherry) went for baking shopping, all the flour & kotak2 yg perlu utk transport my heart melting cupcakes for my dear bestfriend - Puan Shazuwani & (bakal) Puan Anis ... (Bakal) Kakak ipar aku, & scandal aku kat kk tu ... Hahah, scandal la sgt ... Sebab dah janji kan, so kene bagi ... ~ imagine my angelic impression ~ ;p
Got call from 'Api Terbang' said the flight re-timed at 1910hrs, perasaan ?? Panas ati, die call adik aku kot ... Apsal xcall aku ?? Called my ex who suppose to be on the same flight, said yes - hade jek org FireFly called, flight kul 7.10pm ... They sent me email je ... Haish, apsal sumer suke 'assume' aku ni career women yg check email hari2 ... Tapi not fair kot, apsal org lain dorang call ... But I didn't get the call kan, naseb baik la adik aku will be in the same flight ...

Posted on my fb, suruh my dear friends place order ... Either nak chocolates or carrot cupcakes ... They want both ahhh ?? Hahah, padan muke aku ... Cite2 tinggi sgt, nak settle sumer bende ... But one of them won't be around, so there'll be less boxes for adik cherry to carry ... Hahah ... Sebab tu la aku murah hati beli kan tiket die, supaye die boleh angkat barang aku ... :D

I'm done with the 1st round baking, ade 3more important things to be done ... Another flavor of cuppies, & frosting ... & packing, haih ... Frosting sempat buat lagi tomorrow ... Wish me luck ladies ...
I better go now, adik cherry is getting bossy suruh settle those things ... & b!+c#ier dgn my little brother yg degil giler xnak blajar even tho PMR dah dekat giler ... ;p

Picked up my bride's maid dress yg 5mins away from home jek, hehe ... Puas hati ?? Yes, just that ... Ade mis-communication sket ... Since Rico nyer staff ckp there's more beading, but actually it's done just like mase 2nd fitting ... But I lurve it oredy !!! I'll sure find Rico for coming events ...
Then we (me dgn adik cherry) went for baking shopping, all the flour & kotak2 yg perlu utk transport my heart melting cupcakes for my dear bestfriend - Puan Shazuwani & (bakal) Puan Anis ... (Bakal) Kakak ipar aku, & scandal aku kat kk tu ... Hahah, scandal la sgt ... Sebab dah janji kan, so kene bagi ... ~ imagine my angelic impression ~ ;p
Got call from 'Api Terbang' said the flight re-timed at 1910hrs, perasaan ?? Panas ati, die call adik aku kot ... Apsal xcall aku ?? Called my ex who suppose to be on the same flight, said yes - hade jek org FireFly called, flight kul 7.10pm ... They sent me email je ... Haish, apsal sumer suke 'assume' aku ni career women yg check email hari2 ... Tapi not fair kot, apsal org lain dorang call ... But I didn't get the call kan, naseb baik la adik aku will be in the same flight ...

Posted on my fb, suruh my dear friends place order ... Either nak chocolates or carrot cupcakes ... They want both ahhh ?? Hahah, padan muke aku ... Cite2 tinggi sgt, nak settle sumer bende ... But one of them won't be around, so there'll be less boxes for adik cherry to carry ... Hahah ... Sebab tu la aku murah hati beli kan tiket die, supaye die boleh angkat barang aku ... :D

I'm done with the 1st round baking, ade 3more important things to be done ... Another flavor of cuppies, & frosting ... & packing, haih ... Frosting sempat buat lagi tomorrow ... Wish me luck ladies ...
I better go now, adik cherry is getting bossy suruh settle those things ... & b!+c#ier dgn my little brother yg degil giler xnak blajar even tho PMR dah dekat giler ... ;p
